Artistic B&B

This adorable place is in the perfect location in Madrid, and even better because it is not too noisy. The hospitality is excellent and you feel like a guest in somebody's home. The rooms and main area are clean and cozy and safe. There are also a dozen great restaurants just a few steps away. Great for couples and solo travelers.

Perfect location right in the centre of Madrid, ideal for a short break. Very hospitable hosts who speak good English. Rooms are small and simple but well presented contributing to a pleasant stay. Good breakfast in the morning. Overall, excellent value for money and would stay again.

Lovely old building, the staff is extremely helpful and kind. And make sure visitors are fully aware of the fact that this is a walk up. No elevators, but that isn't a problem for those traveling light.

Fantastic host in a nice part of the city. Room was lovely. At night, it is very cold in the room. This is an easy fix- please put extra blankets in the room. Thanks for a nice stay!

The staff is what makes this B&B. They are friendly, helpful and multi-lingual. The directions from the airport were so easy to follow and cost saving over a taxi. Breakfast was so varied every day but always delicious. The only down item is the 3rd floor and no elevator. After a long day of touring that was a long climb, as it was with luggage the 1st day. Still it was worth it

Good location, close to museums and restaurants and metro. Less than 10 minutes walk to the Sol. Staffs are amazing!

This was such a great stay! A little smal boutique-like hotel run by a husband and wife. Alvaro was the greatest! He was very attentive and basically catered to whatever was needed. A wonderful location not far from the Plaza Major and the Prado. Basically in the middle of both locales. And the actual rooms are great! It’s almost like you’re staying in an old apartment like the ones you see pictured in post cards. Highly recommend this place to stay in Madrid!

Very friendly and thoughtful hosts, they made this place and experience truly memorable. I would most definitely stay with them again. The location is fantastic too!

Paloa and May are great. Nothing was too much trouble. The B&B is about 5 Minutes walk to the Prado and Thyseen Bornemisza museums. I was a lone travelling but joined other guests at breakfast which was lovely. Whilst there is three flights of stairs and no lift, it was not a problem. The photos are a true representation of what you will get. I stayed in the mirror room. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location, wonderful people, and no need for the gym after going up the stairs! My room was clean and cozy and the most quiet location of the many I spent in my time in Spain. Loved the thoughtful little note I got with my breakfast as I dashed out the door to catch my flight! Really wish I could have spent more time at Artistic B&B!!
