Days Inn by Wyndham York Alabama

This place was gross and they sold our rooms before arrival.

Old, run down, unsafe

i didnt stay there! ended up driving 70 miles to safer and cleaner hotel. but the clerk was very sweet, she deserves better!

We travel ALOT and have stayed at older hotels but this one was subpar! There was dirt and grime in the bathroom, no shower curtain on the shower and I was scared to take my shoes off walking around in the room. Had there been other options (and had we not been absolutely exhausted) we would have left!

Next time I will ask to check the room first.

No tv service

There were cockroaches , bed bugs the whole room was filthy and when we pulled back the covers there bigs buga crawling all over the place. We did not sleep at all as the was lot lizard swarming from the truck stop next door. We found used needles under the night stand . The bathroom door was busted and coming unglued. Only one light worked in the whole entire room . We had no wifi. We had no hot water so we couldn't take a shower. The grass was overgrown and in need ofmowingwe were scared to death to leave as the deer were thick on the road to there. We ended up sleeping in the car until it was daylight so we could drive . We went to the office to get a cup of coffee and and some breakfast to go.. again very disappointed as the woman in the office was curled up on the recliner, incoherent . This was the worst experience have ever had in my 60 years of staying in motels.. steer clear of this place as this place should be condemned

No TV no WiFi

I’m from the Midwest and it was my first time in Alabama. Unfortunately the first room didn’t have working lights. The second room wasn’t any better. There was limited tissue. Dead wolf spider near the sink. Stained/dirty ottoman. Killed a roach crawling near me. No cable or internet availabile the entire stay. Doorway lacked a stop which allowed insects to enter room. I was appalled and I’ll never stay at another hotel owned by Wyndham ever again
