Stillwell Hotel

Very clean. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent - 20 min walk from the start of the Kosciuszko summit trail. Tasty food. Tasty wine! And such a pretty view to look out on to. I will definitely stay here again. Great value for money.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable for me, my back hurt when I woke up. That is my only complaint.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Friendly service and food was surprisingly good!

Walls are very thin. A couple arrived late at night and woke us up and it was very loud.

Loved being in the mountains

Noisy building work. Walls paper thin. Room was too hot even with window wide open. Bed too hard

The staff were lovely, beds comfortable. Easy parking in summer and a good central point to walks.The deck with a bottle of wine in the afternoon sun after a long walk from Guthega to Charlottes Pass was sensational. You can get lunch packs for $20 but they have to be ordered from the bar by 5 pm the day before. Fish, chips and salad filled the spot after walking. Staff rang during the afternoon to find out whether you would be joining them for dinner.

The rooms are smallish with bed only. There is a common room on level 2 with a tv and microwave.
