Stillwell Hotel

Staff were great, location was exceptional. Lovely comfortable vibe to the place with like minded hikers. Good range in the breakfast and dinner menu.

Thin walls but we brought ear plugs as recommended by previous reviewers.

Close to the Main Range Walk. The new bathroom was nice, the WiFi

The availability of car parking for the hotel is very limited.There was no place to put your soap in the shower as there was no soap holder or shelf. The room was very hot when we checked in and the window we couldn’t open , then at night when the temperature dropped you could feel the cold air coming through the seals of the window.

We had breakfast, packed lunch and dinner at the hotel - all very good. We were up there walking the mountain trails and the hotel was well placed to access these. Lovely views from the room.

We were on third floor and that meant scaling several flights of very steep stairs

Dinner food was great, fresh we also had packed lunch the roll was fresh and delicious
