"Not sure why the hullabaloo about mustache man"

We came here with very low expectations due to the age of the hotel and the reviews/ratings. It’s close to the port and the train station, and we were staying only one night. The thing I was actually looking forward to was the valet because that seemed to be what everyone likes about the place. Not us. The guy had me move my car FOUR (4) times and barely spoke a word. Everything was hand gestures. He didn’t help get our luggage, wouldn’t let us take the luggage cart and had zero interest in helping us at all. When our luggage finally got to our room it was delivered by a different guy who handed me a heavy garment bag (rather than putting it down somewhere) and struggled to take the one remaining bag off the cart, so I had to help him with my one available hand. I am a small woman and he was a big burly guy. My impression so far is they didn’t want to work. Desk staff were very nice and helpful. The 24 hour room service is a lie, as no one ever answered the phone. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. We were on the top floor (14) so while we did hear traffic noise, it didn’t keep us awake nor did it wake us up. What did wake us up was bright sunshine pouring into the bedroom from the SKYLIGHT that had no shade! Overall it was a fine stay for the price. The hotel does need updating though.

Aly was amazing!! He was so helpful and we appreciate him so much. We went jetskiing and he helped us out. He gave us water bottles and everything, a truly great guy. He gave us directions and even lent me a phone charger. WE LOVE YOU ALY!!

"Stay away!!!"

Location was about the only good thing

The hotel’s “system” added a second hold on my card for over $900 for a three night stay. The same day, somehow an account was open in Hilton Honors with my information (I already have an account). They stated they had nothing to do with it - coincidence? I approach the desk manager and called Hilton. They said it would be investigated and they would get back with me. It has been over 5 days since the matter was reported, no answer yet.

I LOVED THE STUNNING VIEW BEAUTY AND CONVENANCE OF EVERYTHING!!! I stayed in awe of everything. The food was amazing, STAFF WAS AMAZING, the taxi boat and ocean view OMG I fell in love with this hotel!!! Well worth every penny…
