GALLERYone- A DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel

Just had 10 days in this hotel. Have stayed before but only for one or two nights. Hotel in a good position on the intracoastal, by a mall, restaurants and shops and not far from the beach. Steve and Kim on the front desk were extremely helpful and polite and when we had a couple of minor issues with the room being serviced the under manager, whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, got things sorted fast. In fact all the staff were very helpful. We both felt extremely comfortable here and there are hotels in Fort Lauderdale where we don’t!!! The setting is beautiful, the suite was large and had a very useful kitchen and a large balcony. Will definitely be back

Go see Rodrigo at the Tiki Bar and Lonby Bar...a great welcoming face for a wonderful property...our house me away from home 4-6 times a year!

Stayed at GalleryOne - A DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel (Room 1032) This stay was a mix of “wow this is nice” and “what is happening right now” 😅 We got there around 11:30am and I went to the front desk fully expecting our room not to be ready—I literally said that and just asked about bag check. The woman at the desk acted like I personally inconvenienced her by asking. Super short, clearly annoyed… so we just went to valet instead -- mainly because she sent us away from her and told us to see them instead. Valet? Amazing. They were helpful, handled our bags, and actually explained how close everything was. Later on, Kimberly checked us in and COMPLETELY turned the experience around. She was friendly, helpful, and honestly the reason this review isn’t worse. We got to the room and realized we had pots but no pans (kind of important when you’re trying to cook). Kimberly put in a request, and by the time we walked to Publix and came back, there was a pan (and an extra pot) waiting in the room. Then… things got weird. We opened the dishwasher and the utensil holder had glass in it/on it that just fell out and shattered everywhere. Turns out there were already large pieces of broken glass sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher... I ended up getting a piece stuck in my hand. Back downstairs to Kimberly (again), who gave me bandaids from her own purse and sent maintenance up right away for that and a running toilet. She handled everything exactly how you’d hope someone would. Kimberly carried this stay. No question. Other notes: Pros: -Great view of the drawbridge + marina -Water taxi stop right there (super convenient for a day out) -Heated pool (VERY chlorinated though—you’ll smell it later 😂) -Hot tub seemed to be saltwater -Beach towels available at the front desk -Fun extras like pool table, shuffleboard, and digital darts Cons / things to know: -If you even tap the bathroom wall, the lights flicker like you’re in a horror movie -Balcony constantly had standing water -Fire pits weren’t in use due to wind (understandable, but still disappointing) -Kitchen had basics, but no salt/pepper -Front desk experience was very inconsistent For reference, we had a 2 Queen Suite: bedroom with 2 queens, separate living room, dining table, small balcony, and a kitchenette (mini fridge, stovetop, microwave, sink, dishwasher). Would I stay again? Honestly… yeah, for sure! The location is great and Kimberly made a big difference—but I’d come in with slightly lower expectations and maybe inspect the dishwasher first 😅

My wife and I stayed here for three nights prior to a cruise and this will be our go to hotel when were are in Fort Lauderdale! From the moment we pulled up to valet the car (they only offer valet service), Ralph at the valet stand went above and beyond. He was constantly friendly, helped bring our bags to our room and was always so pleasant to chat with every time we saw him. We stayed in suite 122O and this suite was amazing. It has a huge balcony and overlooked the intercostal waterway, where we saw the drawbridge open and close and many beautiful yachts coming and going. The kitchen area was perfect for our little getaway and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom area was spacious and overall a great room. We ate breakfast in the Vue restaurant, and Brandon, our server was very attentive. The food was hot and fresh, and appropriately priced for a resort. On one of the mornings, we ran into GM Rafael, who spend some time chatting with us about what brought us into town, and gave us some great recommendations about the water taxi and the restaurants available. Overall, 5/5 and a great place that we will visit again on our trips to Fort Lauderdale! Thank you again!

I like this hotel. Good people. Steven at the front desk seems like the brother from another mother I always wanted. Good man. Always helpful and funny. And he endures my stupid jokes. I like the waterside bar and restaurant. And the valet staff are great too. And Mervin on security. Love that guy!

The area that the hotel is located in is in a great area is very close to the beach and there are many plazas and shopping centers around.
