Munstone House Hotel

The place is gorgeous! The staff were very helpful, and accommodated for vegan diet for one guest very well. I would say that the condition of the rooms could do with some TLC - particularly the bathroom we had. Its amazingly grand, but some fittings were loose or not quite working!

I don't understand why some people have left highly negative reviews of this hotel. I stayed there on a recent business trip and found the staff to be helpful and pleasant at all times. The room was very clean, neat, tidy and comfortable. Most importantly, for me, breakfast was delicious. Maybe some people just like to complain!

So much potential !! Needs some tlc and a modern touch

Lovely hotel in a lovely, convenient setting as a base to explore. Good bright room, comfortable bed, friendly staff and nice breakfast. The bathroom let it down. No proper shower - no where to hang the shower head - water went everywhere and was quite a stressful experience. No hooks to hang wet towels. Needs thinking through. Such a shame.

Great one night stay. Room was lovely and well above our expectations. Staff were welcoming and friendly. They even ran to shop to get us soya milk for our breakfast. Highly recommend and would stay again.

It is a lovely house granted it does need a refub and the rooms are a bit dated and the layout of my room was a bit weird but it does have potential the cleaning bit needs to be improved a bit as the towels we had were not only too small but they did have a few stains on them that was that appealing there was also a tv in the bathroom which was cool but the remote had a dead battery which was a pain as it couldn’t be turned off so it was playing all night which was a bit annoying. The cool thing was I was celebrating and they brought us a free bottle of champagne which was sweet air con in the room would have been a nice touch as it was hot and the pedestal fan they brought to our room wasn’t much help

Only stayed for one night but it was very nice. The staff were extremely helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

We booked an executive room with more space and a higher standard of comfort for a one night stay. Allocated Norfolk. Large room with good en suite. Breakfast was cooked to order. Overall we would have rated this B&B good to very good except the bed in the executive room was a standard size bed. We had little sleep in what was very peaceful countryside location. With one person over 6ft and paying for a premium room we expect better for the tariff charged.

booked this on line ,got to the hotel ,note on door to call this number ,lady answered and said this hotel was shut and that she had another hotel i can stay in ,when i got to the other hotel ,this was about a 2 star and id booked a 4 star and paid up front ,the lady said she would refund me the difference and would get back to me,but never did
