Ocotillo Apartments & Hotel

I don’t even know where to start. The pictures are inaccurate to what the property looks like. The hotel is completely run down, parking lot has pot holes and homeless people all around it ALL THE TIME, and the parking lot wall says “child predator rv” in spray paint. When we drove in the first night there was a part of the parking lot with police tape lined off with a biohazard team scrubbing the floor and police finishing reports up for god knows what. The door didn’t lock and the only thing was the top latch to keep the door secured and the key swipe was broken and took minutes to work each time. Hot water was hit or miss. Towels were dirty upon arrival but yet we were charged $22 for “staining towels”. It was advertised for a hot tub but the front desk staff told me they “never had a hot tub” when you can clearly see one was filled in. The day we were supposed to check in, the front office “closed early for no reason” so the security guard had to check me in, it was 4pm and he said they had gone to lunch and never came back. In fact, the front desk staff looked like they were never there. Had called multiple times and emailed about access to WiFi, never received an answer. At one point a lady was coming through and collecting rent, I let her know we already paid for the hotel. Thankfully we took our own trash out, I’m SURE we would’ve been charged for that. It worth the extra couple dollars to stay in a real hotel. DO NOT COME HERE, it’s not worth the money, I promise.

Joanna Sanchez rented this room to my son and myself, this was the mattress! She refused to give us a new mattress, even when I called the Health Department! Full of roaches and Bed Bugs! Call the Health Department for full details! Confront her and Perjures herself in court, takes your beds away and threatens you and has her crew threaten you!

Cheap room. OK to sleep in.

I booked a room for two nights last minute and was immediately alarmed when the closer I got the more homeless and drug addicts I saw. There was a security guard sitting at a gate that let you in. The entire place was fenced with rolls of barb wire around it. It was late when I got in and I had nowhere else to go so I checked into my room. The room was clean so I give props to the house cleaners, but the bathroom ceiling had bad water damage and the room was basic to say the least. The bolt lock on the door didn’t work and the whole door was pretty wanky and could’ve probably been kicked in easily. The bolt lock didn’t even fit in the hole. I spent the night swatting away about 100 flies that were in the room and slept miserably. The next morning, I let them know and they let me change rooms. I was gone all day and didn’t get back till late and when I went to my room, the keys didn’t work. So I went and got new ones and entered an extremely hot room. The air conditioner didn’t work so I marched back down and let them know and they told sorry and not to mess with it or it would short out everybody. So I aired out the room as best as I could, and slept with a refrigerator door open on myself. The next morning I woke up to police tape surrounding the entire place. Apparently at 3:30 in the morning a shooting took place and a man was murdered and two others shot! The body was wrapped laying on the ground in full view! Horrible experience! Do NOT stay here!!!

I was told on your website the total was $59 dollars and thats all I would have have to pay for the night at that hotel , so i payed that $59 , boy was i surprised the next day when they wanted an additional $100 security depost they told me it was in the fine print of some legal document that I'm sure most people never read it would take a lawyer to make since of also long unreadable in under an hour i mean why did you take the $59 and the security deposit at the checkout the same time. I got ripped off no room because I didn't have anymore money that day I feel like I should have got my money back. im so mad about this
