Comfort Inn & Suites Plattsburgh - Morrisonville

I found this to be a very odd hotel during my one night stay. On arrival, the one person behind the desk was sitting on her phone and made no acknowledgement that I was there. Even if she was not the person who could check me in, I assume she was a hotel employee, being behind the desk. An acknowledgement and a mention that the person who would check me in would be right back is easy. No idea why she couldn't even look up. After a few minutes, the person who was working the desk arrived and checked me in quickly. The hotel has an unusual layout. I found my room after a flight up in an elevator then a short flight of stairs. My room was surprisingly huge even though it was the lowest-priced available room when I booked. Everything was clean and comfortable. My location wasn't great, with noise from the hallway as well as the main entry area from outside. It didn't bother me but a light sleeper would not want that room. The main annoyance was the motion sensor lights. Having the lights in the main sitting area is not too bad, but having them go off while in the shower because the sensor is out in the vanity area is much more annoying. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was the listed amenity of a full fitness center. So I tried it out. It is well-equipped but uncared for. The men's locker room has multiple lockers with doors ripped off and the floors are disgusting. There was also some kind of leak resulting in a wet carpet. I guess the fitness center should be a separate review. Back to the hotel, I went down for the hot breakfast but the hot items were cold.. No one was around to ask about them. I don't know if they eggs and ham were warm and got cold in the serving dish or were never warmed at all. Overall, it was an ok stay that could have been great if the employees (and more importantly the management that is ultimately responsible) cared a lot more. For what I got, it was overpriced. I'd recommend trying something else when in the Plattsburgh area.

The breakfast finished at 9, which we didn’t realize and when we went inside there were many people seated and eating . The person who worked there told us to leave , we asked if we can just take a yogurt to go and she said no, it was shocking . The front desk was nice and helped us

The room wasn't very clean but house keeping was right there to help

Location is great! So close to many stores. Staff was welcoming.

The linens on the bed were down right gross. VERY stained and dirty.
