Comfortable experience

Overall it was a great stay. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. There are subtle signs that it's an older hotel but the updates they've made are very good. Hallway carpets aren't worn & there weren't any strange smells. They had a nice variety of breakfast offerings & the coffee was fresh ! Great location on route 11. We were here for Fall Carlisle-about 20 mins from the fairgrounds & close to restaurants/shopping. Will stay here again !

The hotel had shabby look, it needs general up keep done. The carpet in our room had a huge stain right as you entered the room. Common areas needed painting and could be a lot cleaner. We were disappointed in the lack of general cleaning. It did not meet the standard for the price we paid for the night. We will not be returning.

Disgusting ....To be a "brand" you must be consistent in the product/service provided to customers. We book H-I-Express for that reason. This hotel is 3rd world and that's being generous. I was shocked that IHG would allow the H-I Express name to be placed on this property. Room was dirty, carpet stained, bathroom had broken tile with mold. Shower head was so dirty, water won't flow thru most of outlets. I shouldn't have to research cleanliness/property condition before booking. Avoid........

Spent a night going for the Carlisle show. First, the staff was accommodating and they had a nice breakfast. It stops there. Beware Rm 327. First, the beds were clean, but the room smelled and felt like a two day old, wet, locker room towel. Drywall tape separating and cracking everywhere, and I could have done a better job spackling with my butt cheeks! The fridge didn't close but was running. The freeze portion was frosted over, but melting onto the carpet leaving a wet spot. There were stains on the chair that were, frankly, scary. Worst was the bathroom. The tub seams were getting moldy, but beyond that, the ceiling was dripping water over the sink at a steady pace, and the drywall was soaked and about to drop! We only spent the night because we had arrived very late and didn't see most of these things until the next morning. They were accommodating in that they allowed checkout and refund for the remaining 2 days we had booked. But lastly, while waiting to check out, I noticed 3 garbage pails lined up on the floor in the lounge area. They were there to catch water dripping from the ceiling, and it wasn't raining!

One of the dirtiest hotel rooms that I have ever stayed in. The room had a bad smell of urine when the AC was not running. If the heat was on it was even worse. The bed had no covers on the box springs. The room did not have a phone and the refrigerator did not work. I would avoid staying here even if you have to drive further to get a hotel.

very old needs a lot of updating

This hotel is tired, needs upgrading. Of the 5 days I stayed, housekeeping missed my room 4 days, I even complained on day two. The furniture is stained and worn, the carpet was ripped and worn. Parking lot has pothole ypu need to avoid. I only stayed as it was central to all of my client visits
