Hampton Inn Anderson

We’ve stayed in Hiltons and Hampton Inns before but this was very different. At checkin reception less than warm, not recognized as a Gold member —not a biggie for sure.— BUT the shower had hair in the drain from the last occupant — we discovered in the morning. Dust all over ithe TV.console. Breakfast had cold pastry, dry sausage. The snack section by front desk was amazingly overpriced.—One bottle of coke was $5. We won’t be back as there are other choices on the same street.

Sent to 3 rooms that were dirty. I ended up staying in the third room because I was tired. I had to clean the bathtub and sink myself due to the construction at the hotel. Maintenance man entered my room the next morning while I was asleep. I had the dream always signed on the door and I was not scheduled to check out until the following day.

The curtains were a little smaller than the window and the room could be seen through the window.

Unfortunately, the elevator was out, and I had to carry a cooler multiple times to the third floor, but other than that the staff was fantastic and breakfast was one of the best that we’ve had in our six weeks since Helene displaced us. Surprisingly, even better than when we stayed at the Hilton downtown Anderson. Staff very helpful seeing if food was safe for the kids allergies.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and neatly kept. Great experience

Location was great!

Way too expensive for the room, but I guess you are paying for location.
