Quality Inn Auburn Campus Area I-85

This place has to do better! For one, a roach greeted me upon arrival in my room, our air didn’t work, very muggy in the room, next door to Waffle House, very noisy! The breakfast was made for vegans I guess, no type of variety, only bagels, waffles, cereal (no milk), and an egg patty. Definitely on the “do not stay here again” list.

Upon arrival, speedy check in...no problem. From the looks of the lobby I figured it was updated. We soon found out there was no elevator...took the stairs which are outside. The stairs were littered with cigarette butts and men sitting there smoking. The hall smelled like weed and I'm guessing the things over the doors with the cords looping down were the wifi boxes, ghetto but ok cool. The room was pretty clean, bed comfy, a/c blowed cold all night.. nothing to watch on the channels they provide but the wifi was pretty good. Old school tub/shower but I did appreciate the flooring and no carpet. The breakfast was totally wack, no spread for bagels, no protein, coffee was watery and OJ tasted weird. GOOD NEWS, Waffle House is next door! PONKO is nearby and had really awesome chicken...overall it was ok for overnight but definitely not my style for extended stay.

Ugh. I had wanted to stay at the other Quality Inn in the area, but it was booked. A hotel is a hotel, right? Nope, this place makes flea traps look habitable. Let’s start with the flooring—cracked and crumbling vinyl flooring and stained/torn carpeting. Then there was the smell. Couldn’t tell if someone had been cooking or spilled dog food all over the room. The pubic hair ball on the floor of the bathroom was a nice touch, as was the stained couch. But perhaps the worst was every 15 minutes, the leaking toilet would refill, emitting a 90 decibel whistle from the water valve. I don’t care if Auburn is playing Bama in a #1/#2 match up; you’re better off sleeping in your car than here.

Being next to the Waffle House is the only good thing about the stay. The front desk worker was super awesome.

This place was awful. The only reason we stayed there was because of bad weather and we had to get out of our mobile homes. Will never ever stay there anymore.

Only hotel to have a room available.

The property was nasty, the building is literally falling apart, the stairwell, which is the only way up to the 2nd floor, steps are cracked and broken making a big tripping hazard. Our room did not have a mirror, the bathroom doorknob was barely hanging onto the door so you could not shut it, there were hairs in the bedsheets and the towels, the floors were dirty, it felt like bugs were crawling on you when you tried to sleep. We were awakened in the middle of the night to people running and yelling in the hallway. In the hallway, wires were hanging from the ceiling. Will not stay here again.
