Bellingham Lodge

It's an old inn that shows signs of regular upkeep. Some rooms allow smoking, so there's a faint lingering smell throughout. Breakfast is pretty minimal, though they do serve waffles made by the receptionists, which adds a quirky touch. The main draw is the pool, hot tub, and sauna—while small, they're very clean, which is definitely a plus.

The manager on duty was friendly and helpful.

Most of the residents are living here full time. This is not a motel per se, although you can rent a room (you shouldn’t). It smells like smoke. The carpets are filthy and had water damage. The bathroom was dirty and dingy. The tub and shower had glue and stains all over it. The toilet seat was worn out. Burn marks on the bathroom floor. The chair was dirty and the bed had some hair in it.

Super friendly staff. Solid location!

Located next to a good Japanese restaurant and convenient to Mt Baker.
