DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newark Airport

Had availability when my flight was cancelled.

Check in was extremely slow at 1:00am, there were people yelling and screaming in the middle of the night.

Clean nice staff

Waiting at the airport for 1 hour for shuttle so disorganized and driver stopped in zone 1 vs 2 so I missed it once and everyone fights to get in the shuttle. Best to uber

The line for the check in. There were a lot of people and only one lady to support the flow.

Close to Newark Airport, friendly and helpful staff, clean.

On-site restaurant did not have good rating or much selection. The front desk did not answer the phone when I called.

Very worn out stained bedding and bathrooms. Hotel staff would not answer the phone when i called for 10 minutes straight after going to bed in our room when the neighbor was screaming and banging on his door non stop. We were terrified!

The front desk was severely understaffed, leading to a long wait to check in, only to find our assigned room had one bed instead of the two we reserved. We had to return to the lobby and wait in an even longer line to fix the error. Furthermore, the air conditioning in our room did not work properly, leaving it uncomfortably hot overnight, and the complimentary water bottles promised at check-in were missing.
