Hótel Flókalundur

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Staff were friendly, modern rooms with beautiful views of the fjord (and great proximity to hot springs), and restaurant was fantastic for dinner and breakfast. We’ll be back.

Dont let the nondescriptive exterior fools you. It's huge, clean and beautifully decorated inside. My room is spacious, clean with heated floor. Wifi works well. They have breakfast but I didn't wake up for it. The hotel is very close to a small natural thermal pool. They have pool towels and bath rope for the pool trip. Don't forget to grab it.

Very clean and nice staff. Close to Hellulaug Hot Spring and they give you extra towels and robes which is very nice.

Cet hôtel est très bien situé, en bord de mer, avec un HotSpot à proximité. La chambre est très petite si bien qu'avec 2 valises, il n'y a plus de place ! La salle de bain n'est guère plus spacieuse. Le personnel est accueillant. Le petit-déjeuner est parfait avec même de quoi faire les gaufres! Le restaurant est de bonne qualité avec des prix raisonnables.

Very clean and tidy, rooms rather plain (no in-room coffee). Some building work until early evening. Isolated, but proximity to a camp site means that the hot pool can be crowded.

The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We were the only guests because we are here during off season, but they still put out the entire free breakfast and it was very tasty. It gave us a great start to our morning and was nice to chat with a local about Iceland life. The view from the room was nice as well.
