ibis La Rochelle Centre Historique Hotel

La Chambre est minuscule tout comme la salle de bain. Charriot de menage present dans le couloir devant la porte de la chambre !

Went to La Rochelle to watch a rugby match (we lost!). Hotel basic, but clean and friendly. Room small, but had everything we wanted except no way to make a light night drink. Breakfast extra, but worth it. Parking about 150m away in underground parking, cheap and secure. La Rochelle is charming, and the people very friendly. There was a Christmas market in the nearby square, which was interesting, and really shows how much of a "Rugby town" it is - all the stalls were flying the colours of the local Rugby team, and there were beers featuring players of the team on the labels. The local museum is virtually opposite. Although our room was right over the hotel entrance, it was really quiet at night.

Too bad air conditioning was shut off for the season! Was much too hot in room.

Chambre très chaude sans pouvoir interagir avec la clim. Hôtel très bien situé, manque un parking proche.

The hotel is very well located close to the. Bus station and markets. It's a short walk from the harbour and restaurants. The rooms are clean but very small. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on it.

Close to all amenities and easy walking distance from all the sites. This has been the third time we have stayed here and yes, I would go stay again.

Good value hotel with great breakfast.

Last two nights of our holiday. Great location in the centre of La Rochelle and dead easy for the bus to the airport - 20 mins and 1euro per person.

Nice hotel located in the city centre , very friendly bi- lingual staff , free parking about 400m away

You get what you pay for. Excellent value for a 2 night stay. Good breakfast, good staff
