La Quinta by Wyndham Helena

The location

It was very dirty, the lightbulbs were missing, the blinds didn’t work, the chair in the room had stains all over it, the air conditioning did not work (we had it turned down all the way and it must have been 75 degrees in there), I talked to the staff about some of my concerns and they did nothing about it. One of the towels had a brown spot on it.

The lady at the front desk (not sure of her name) always has everything ready for me at check in. This last time I stayed I let her know that I normally stay in a king room but for some reason it wasn’t available for booking on a Tuesday. She insisted that she correct it and set me up with the room I preferred on arrival even after I said it want a big deal. I keep coming back as I travel a lot through Montana, I always pick this place to stop thanks to her 🙂

The la Quinta is a real bad family hotel they’ll call the cops on you and stare at you while getting complementary food or continental breakfast and won’t allow you to grab stuff for your kids without staring and you or making a noise they have long faces bad attitudes on top that the showers are really bad it sprays everywhere and gets the floor flooding really bad plumbing, the doors to the bathroom smack into each other and if you have kids know that doors don’t stay closed so they collide so your running into it just doesn’t make any sense and if your toes get under the doors they have weird sharp stuff on them one the boys got there toes and was bleeding and screaming they don’t care for you here and I’m pretty sure I have bugs now they are horrible 3 in the morning I had cops knocking because they were complaining about dogs so overall really bad service and people

Bed was a little too soft.

The exterior looks great! The front desk staff were very friendly. The rest of the hotel is very dated. The room had the strong smell of stale cigarette smoke that burned my eye's. Reminiscent of an 80's Las Vegas casino. The mattress was about 3 years past it prime, with a deep valley up the middle. On the plus side my wife and I have never slept this closely in recent years.

Breakfast was good. Ready on time. Location noisy but convenient to where we were going
