I like the way the halls and rooms are decorated. Check in was very easy. The beds were comfortable. Since we booked through a 3rd party, our package included a $15 credit each for breakfast. We ordered off the menu, which I prefer to a buffet or continental breakfast. The restaurant had many coffee/latte options. My latte was just perfect! I would stay there again as long as the rate was kept low. The front desk and wait staff were super friendly and helpful.

The coffee is freeze-dried, to use with the supplied water kettle. I love that idea, but the coffee was terrible! There are better freeze-dried coffees out there. We were supposed to have water in our refrigerator but not really a deal killer. The bathrooms were lovely but was absolutely no where to put my toiletry bag. The sink was big but didn't have enough room on the edges to put anything. Also, when showering, there was nowhere to put the towel I intended to use afterwards. A few hooks, shelves, drawers and counter space would be helpful. The lobby and attached restaurant are very dark and not aesthetically pleasing, compared to the rest of the hotel. It felt like a cave in that area. (The 2 large lobbies on the other side of the check in desk are very nice.)

This was such a great hotel! Located in downtown State College, you’re walking distance to campus as well as all of the restaurants and bars downtown. The hotel is brand new and feels it, the rooms are very clean and have all the amenities you could want. Only docked one star because there were no king beds available. Overall I’d be happy to stay here again!

Our room was clean and well-decorated. We enjoyed the hotel's well-appointed common areas in the lobby. However, our hotel stay felt very basic despite the high per-night rate (& it wasn’t even a football weekend). The extra self-parking fee was annoying, but the destination charge was ridiculous. State College, lovely as it is, isn't NYC! I understand it counts as a food-and-beverage credit, but I didn't really want to eat at your hotel.
