Hampton Inn & Suites Newport News-Airport - Oyster Point Area

The kitchen staff was superior. Energetic and accommodating. The check in staff couldn’t tell us how to get the guide on the tv. Something she should have known. The lights over the desk did not work and flickered so short somewhere but they might not have known if no one reported it previously. Otherwise pleasant stay. Convenient location.

Clean

The staff was welcoming, friendly and gave great advice on places close to eat at. I was only there basically overnight to pick up my son from the Army base for Christmas but my stay was so good that I wish I had more time.

The only thing I didn't like were the prices on the snacks but then again snacks are kinda expensive everywhere now.

Staff was courteous and friendly. Facility was clean and was located to the things we needed , gas, shopping. Our stay was good.

Edward at the front desk was really friendly and helpful.

Great location

The size of the suite we stayed in was good. The buffet breakfast was good as well.

There were not enough outlets near the bed in the bedroom. There was a lamp and clock radio on one side of the bed that could not be plugged in. The room seemed a bit dingy and older. There were some spots on the walls.

The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and welcoming.

We had plumbing issues with water dripping out of the ceiling in the bathroom - staff moved us to another room- which was a suite - nice - but the dishwasher was leaking. All issues were taken care of quickly - but it was somewhat of a disappointment to have to deal with such things. Nice hotel - but they need to focus more on maintenance - before guest arrive.
