Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Brooks - Louisville South

Check in was fine, room ok. We checked in late and after an hour there the AC went out in both rooms we had and nothing could be done it was to late and you hear planes flying over very low all night.

Pictures online make this place look nice but in person it’s trashy, the sheets on my bed had cigarette burns, the bathroom door was cracked, the pillows were stiff and small l, and the bed was hard as a rock.

I liked how I was downstairs and was able to park right in front of my room

I was leary about the location as soon as I saw the doors open to outside and there were people smoking outside but I was desperate because I had my Mother (84 yrs) and a 4 yr old along with 2 sisters. We Were very tired, and it was after 10pm. I thought going thru Hotels.com it would be ok. After checking in I went upstairs to the room. The door lock was missing and the door looked jared open. I didn't even hesitate to leave! I told the girl up front about the door and wanted my $98.00 back because I did not feel safe. She said I had to take that up with Hotels.com which I did. I have been told that the hotel (dump) would NOT refund because it was a non refundable reservation. I'm very disappointed that I did not get my refund because I didn't feel safe. For what its worth we did find another hotel and had to pay $200! I've used Hotels.com for years and will continue to do so. A $98 lesson learned!!

I absolutely love this hotel its quiet, well managed, and they always fulfill any request I have made. The staff is super nice and very helpful. Me and my boyfriend have stayed in some bad hotels mostly but this one is the best one in the louisville and bullitt county area we have stayed at. I wouldnt pay much attention to the bad reviews on here as this place isnt a 5 star hotel but it accomadates your needs, its clean, quiet, and is a great little hotel. They even give you extra time to check out if you need it which is really nice. A+++++

Room itself was subpar. Cleaning could have been better. There were stains and cigarette burns on the comforter. Towels for bathroom weren't replaced when room was cleaned and latch on door wouldn't close without slamming. Cleaning person left room door ajar after cleaning. Not a place i would stay on a regular but fit bill due to time constraints.

Our room was cold due to having wood flooring but overall it was a good clean room.

The shower had been broken for a long time. It shot water up to the ceiling and the ceiling looked like it would cave in on top of the shower area. Also, the bed cover was very worn and had cigarette burns. Would not recommend.
