Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest

A weekend ruined. I had a prepaid confirmed reservation for the weekend and when I arrived was told that no rooms were available. They set me up at a much inferior property 15 miles away. As a loyalty member I was very upset.

Upon arrival my reservation could not be found. Lucky, I had a printed copy of my confirmation. The gal clicked around and I really thought she was going to tell me I was out if luck. Another gal stepped in and said to handle as a walk-in which she did. This was a Marriott glitch not specifically this facility. These situations happen and it was taken care of for me. Got a room on concierge floor which I had reserved. The room was not one of the newly redone rooms. There were flies in our room(probably from construction) which we put up with but on the second day they were so bad I got moved to one of the new rooms and everything was fine. After all this confusion we got on with our get-away. The lobby is beautiful. We ordered drinks at the bar and ate at both restaurants. All excellent service and delicious food. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen. We also took advantage of the concierge lounge which was great. The best part of the trip and our reason for staying here was the fabulous golf course. The greens were perfect. Driving range and putting green were wonderfull. After golfing we ate at the restaurant there with a great view of the course. We bought a few items in their pro shop, too. If you plan on golfing call ahead because the first day there was a state match. We didn't mind the $30 parking fee because the lot is somewhat secure having to use room key to get in and out. Housekeeping and all servers work so hard that I did tip them. We will definitely be staying here again.

Fine hotel. A bit run down and the rooms (bathrooms in particular) are in need of a refresh.

Decent overall stay - room had issues that need fixing and remodeling - understand building is being worked on but room bathroom had issues

The rooms are newly updated and the staff was friendly. It was a good location for events in Ann Arbor.

Everything about the hotel was great. Except for the $30 self parking fee that I didn't know about. It's not like it is in a busy city area, it's rural with a very large parking lot that was almost empty.
