Baymont by Wyndham Grand Haven

They need to clean better, especially corners and baseboards. The only other issue I had is working with a third-party booking company. Apparently your computers don’t update on a regular basis and they still have overcharged me. My receipt says one thing and my charge went through on my account says another. Still need rectify this.

The check in staff was great, room was big, bed comfy, had microwave and fridge. Hot tub nice. The food selections at breakfast were very good in comparison to other hotels. They had things like flavored Philly cream cheese and flavored bagels, options of flavors for yogurt/oatmeal...

Had to go to desk to have heater switch found, it would not turn on, staff fixed it, had to go get them because the phone didn't work. And the first night both my friend and I took showers and the shower was way too hot, the handle would hardly move after turning on. The next day we got it past the spot it was stuck at and was able to adjust the temp. We had a death in the family and tried to adjust the dates of Booking but was unsuccessful and was charged for the night we were unable to stay. Staff said they may be able to refund since it was noted we were trying to get it adjusted even before the stay. Last thing I didn't like was the housekeeping staff having a heated argument blocking the desk when I was trying to check out.

The people. The beds were comfy but the dirt and dust around floors and headboards were quite disgusting
