To much noice between rooms
GB* Very relaxing atmosphere * Stunning location on the River Nile! * Comfortable bed * Swimming pool temperature was perfect; there’s also a heated infinity pool (for 16+) which was even more enjoyable * SPA facilities in excellent condition * Tasty food at the restaurants * Very kind and helpful staff, always ready to assist with bookings and taxis My highlights: * Morning coffee on a sun chair, taking in the River Nile and the West Bank mountains * Reading by the pool, sipping cold beers, swimming, or simply enjoying the view of swaying palm trees, and that view * SPA (sauna & steam room; I also went for a massage & facial and I recommend it) * Felucca ride from the hotel’s port (simply wonderful and made the stay feel complete)
* Shower pressure could be a little stronger, but the view from the balcony makes up for it ;)

USThe property itself is beautiful. Love the pool area and the grounds. The view is spectacular! The service is also wonderful. They rush to put down towels and move umbrellas so that you are comfortable. The pasta at the restaurant was very good. The concierge was very kind and went of her way to be very helpful.
The rooms were old and not very nice. If you are not planning on being in the room for very long then it’s fine but the carpeting on the third floor and the rooms themselves are Tired and not as nice as the property. I would not say it was 5 star accommodations more 4 star in the quality. I also didn’t like how they priced their spa it was very high for Egypt trying to just use US pricing which I didn’t like. I would have used the spa but felt like they were gouging Americans because they can. We stayed at higher end resorts in Egypt with incredible spas and their prices were considerable lower than the Hiltons.
