Days Inn by Wyndham Willcox

The breakfast was not good, the eggs were nasty, the gravy for the biscuits was nasty. The waffles were good, the staff was nice. I paid over 200 dollars for the night and only reason I was ok was for the breakfast, and that was a let down.

The price, I feel like I got ripped off, 195 for one night plus 100 deposit.. breakfast was trash.

Towels were very dirty and stained , the front desk lady proceeded to be rude about it.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I booked my reservation online several days in advance and was never informed of any strict check-in cutoff time. There was no mention during booking, no follow-up communication, and no courtesy call to confirm arrival—something many other hotels routinely do, especially for late check-ins. After a long road trip across multiple time zones, we arrived just 15 minutes after midnight, only to find the lobby unattended. We had to repeatedly ring the outside bell before someone finally came out. That’s when we were told our reservation had been canceled because we didn’t arrive by midnight. This policy was never clearly communicated, and canceling a fully paid reservation over being 15 minutes late—without any attempt to contact the guest—is unreasonable and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the staff refused to issue a refund. When I attempted to speak with the manager, Jamie, she was dismissive, unwilling to listen, and showed no understanding or compassion for the situation. Even after escalating the issue through Wyndham customer service, the manager still refused to make it right. This experience showed a complete lack of customer care, flexibility, and basic courtesy. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when booking here, especially if you may be arriving later in the evening.

Wifi only works in the lobby. So beware you will not be able to get online! Front desk says “wifi is spotty & this is rural America and people from the city are not use to it and don’t understand rural America”. Can you believe you would get a response like this? Unbelievable! I have stayed at two other hotels (motels) here in Wilcox, AZ and other areas that are not even on the map & no problems with the wifi. This is a Days Inn problem.
