"Extremely Disappointing Experience – Never Again"

I’ve been a loyal member of Marriott Bonvoy for over 20 years, but after my recent experience at the Residence Inn in Lewisville, I will never stay at another Marriott Bonvoy property again. My family and I (a family of six) checked into this hotel on 01/02/2025, seeking refuge after our home was flooded. We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised spacious, clean, 2-bedroom accommodations, which seemed perfect for my family, especially with children who have asthma. However, upon entering the room, it was immediately clear that it was anything but what was advertised. The room had a strong moldy odor, the carpets were filthy, and the walls were visibly dirty. Given my children's asthma, there was absolutely no way we could spend even one minute in that room, let alone the night. We checked out immediately. To make matters worse, five days later, the hotel has still not released the $520 I paid for a room that I couldn’t even occupy. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott Bonvoy property. The lack of cleanliness, the unsafe environment for my family, and the lack of professionalism in refunding my money is completely unacceptable. Marriott Bonvoy, you have truly let us down. I expected much better, especially from a brand I’ve been loyal to for so many years. Never again.

"Rooms badly need updating"

Convenient location to visit family in the area, some staff were very nice others including the mNWas somewhat rude

The sofa bed was broken and extremely uncomfortable. No linens for the bed in room had to wait a long time for front desk to bring some. Maintenance was poor bathroom had mold and peeling wallpaper

"Slept good after coming home from wedding"

It was close distance to a wedding I attended.

It is in need of renovation badly. Walls and floor cracked . My kids thought it was haunted. Elevators thumped so my kids refused to get back on and took stairs instead. Curtains had slashes of holes , drain in bath tub full of mildew. Breakfast was not much . Only saw choice of cold cereal or yogurt

"Disappointed with the lack of cleanliness standard"

We were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness standard at this facility. The bathroom was very dirty, including the inside and outside of the bathroom door and walls. We had to ask housekeeper to thoroughly clean the backside of the door after the initial cleaning of what we had mentioned. the whole room especially the bathroom would benefit from a Deep Cleaning. The bathroom fan was covered with at least 1/4" dark dust on its louvers and there was a scent of mildew in the bathroom. The furniture is very worn, especially the living area furniture; it was very uncomfortable to sit on, the cushions were no longer of any support firmness.
