Residence Inn Denver Highlands Ranch

Two hours before check I got a message saying they down graded my room due to no air conditioning. I was exhausted and just drove 14.5 hours for a wedding. I ended up staying at another hotel which also inconvenienced my family member who was going to share a room with me. I have not experienced this with Marriot before so this was a big disappointment.

Well, when we got there, they only had one room on Expedia I requested two rooms next to each other so had to go back and talk to the gentleman who was very nice but gave us rooms very far apart. He said they were filled but the parking lot was not full at all. My room was very nice exempt the shower which was hard to open the glass door and there was mold on the bottom of the shower. They really need to make a bigger sign on the outside of the building because it was very hard to find.

We've here, again, this time for a local high school graduation. The 3-room suite, a queen bed room, a king bed room, and a "living room/kitchen" was huge. A TV in each room. As we entered, we had no issue with its cleanliness. The bed was comfortable, and the TV manageable. The shower was great (pressure and heat). The breakfast was fantastic: 3 hot dishes every day: scrambled eggs, a meat, and a "specialty" (mini-quiches, sausage biscuits...). The only negative to my mind is that this is a 3-building facility. Flanking a building that they call the "Gatehouse," are two buildings with rooms, both 3 stories high. The Gatehouse houses the check in desk, the fitness center, and the breakfast room. The three buildings are not connected, thus, to get to breakfast, you will have to go outside, in rain or snow, and walk to the Gatehouse. During our stay, the weather was great, i.e., we did not come to breakfast "wet."

Older facility that needs some upgrades. Air conditioning is noisy and clunky. Entrance door does not close properly and shower head needs replacing.

Staff was excellent, room was great, love the location, Breakfast is decent, but as someone who enjoys breakfast above all meals, Village Inn is a short walk.

Fitness Center needs to be updated. Needs more space in there, and updated equipment. The Bike is functional, but only for pedaling. There isn't enough room to actually use the dumbbells.

The room I was in was full of horseflies!

An aging property in dire need of a renovation. Popcorn ceilings, stains in the carpet, foul smells, etc. The staff was excellent and refunded our money.

The location is good, breakfast and lobby area very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. But the rooms, hallways and elevator really need better maintenance. The building has not been cared for as your would expect for a Marriott property
