Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre

Good location.

For the price you pay u figure they would have hot water. Didn’t have hot water for 2 days. Had a Jacuzzi suite. What’s the point of that if you can’t even enjoy your bath.

We always enjoy our two day stay at the Pomeroy Hotel and Conference Center when visiting family in Grand Prairie. The location and quality of the hotel are excellent - close by the Prairie Mall, on a main corner in downtown, and accessible to the main travel routes. Surprisingly, even when we stayed on the street side, we did not notice much traffic noise. The complementary breakfast buffet has eggs, fruit, bacon or sausage, yogurt, etc., and delicious Danish and muffins which are just the right size. One thing that is much appreciated is the willingness the breakfast staff have when asked to fill your thermos with coffee or hot water for tea: a great bonus for those of us who are leaving for points north or south several hours away. The executive level snacks and rooms are a welcome bonus when we have upgraded. The staff here are exceptional for a northern Albertan. As well as the friendly efficiency of Allan and Sim at reception desk, Priya does the same in the executive lounge. In early March 2026 we paid for the Sunday brunch at The Office. Well worth every penny and highly recommended!
