My stay was just ok. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were atrocious. The Roman shade didn’t work, and it’s really dark in the room. The lights do not give off enough light. The shower was not equipped with any kind of shelf to put your things on. Nothing to hold onto either. I’m not handicapped but I do have balance issues. There is no full length mirror to check your outfit What happened to a tablet and pen? They used to supply you with a list of restaurants in the area, attractions, hotel amenities, check out times, etc. now nothing. Very disappointed.

The entire property is kept very clean . The staff should be commended for all their hard work . As it is very evident . Also having fresh coffee and warm cookies was amazing !!

"My personal experience with Hampton Inn Johnson city & Groupon"

Groupon and Hampton Inn Johnson city are extremely fraudulent. Please stay away. You are not gaining by using Groupon. You will loose your money. I paid for 1King Bed and 1 Double Sofa Bed rooms at Hampton Inn Johnson City, NY. When we arrived, we were offered 2 Queen rooms which was a cheaper room. I paid approximately $70 per night more for a King bed room as against a Queen bed room. ($70*4 = $280 approximately using the current difference in price). Total I paid for 4 nigts was USD $742.00 Hampton Inn Johnson responded: Due to an unfortunate maintenance issue on March 12, 2025, we were unable to honor the reservation under the.... Groupon responded: We regret to inform you that we have been unable to secure an agreement from the Hotel to refund this itinerary and, as such, the agreed penalties will apply. However, we would like to offer 83.85 USD compensation as a one-time courtesy from our team. Kindly response to this email if the you accepts this offer. I did not accept the offer because I am still loosing alot. I am still expecting a resolution. I didn't ask for all my money. All I asked was for the difference in the rooms which both parties have refused to provide me. I basically got scammed pls stay far away. Groupon and Hampton Inn Johnson city are horrible.
