"Very Good"

Location

Didn't like the fact that I would had to go tonthe 2nd floor for ice. Also got iice cream from the market and it was not good. Also it was very noisy

The staff was very friendly and helpful

The room was dirty(stains on the curtains and cobwebs all over). The sheets on the bed were very rough, and you could hear everything going on in the room next door.

Not much. Decent breakfast. GM Lawrence was helpful in explaining room charges.

Almost everything. Upon check in the staff attendant was cackling on her gum, had no idea how to do third party check in, the hallway was extremely dirty with bags of laundry, my refrigerator was warm, the rod to close the curtain fell off, between 9 and midnight the hallway and noise level was extremely loud with banging, music, high level voices, and hearing other people through the wall. Shower had last guests dirty soap still in there.

"Great value with a tasty, substantial breakfast"

The staff was excellent, polite and helpful. I asked for an extra blanket as I was cold and it was delivered to me within 10 minutes. The lady who checked me in was pleasant and friendly. The shower was spacious and easy to operate. I thought the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of hot and cold items. I particularly liked the choice of nuts and fruit to add to my cereal. The coffee was good and toast or bagels available with a variety of spreads. I could not have asked for more!

Just a few cobwebs in my room, I only noticed when I came to close the curtains, otherwise very clean.

"Complete lack of communication = dealbreaker"

As a former professional hotel critic, I'm generally flexible when it comes to reviewing hotels, since I know how hard it is to do everything right. On the other hand, what I definitely do *not* accept is inexplicably poor customer service, and the hotel's inexplicable refusal to respond to messages about even the most basic stuff – I literally needed only to push back my booking by a single day – handily qualifies. Both emails & calls failed to yield any response, yay or nay. I get the whys: Marriott lets its properties' owners (most of which are franchised) "penalize" guests for not booking rooms through their Bonvoy app instead of an OTA. But I don't *accept* that as a valid why. Nor should you. I only give one-star reviews if a place is bad enough that I'll never return. And this is the first in a while that's 100% failed to respond to a basic reservation request.

"Not the best but not the worst either"

After staying at the Hyatt House this was definitely a step down but chose it for the price and convenience so for that it was not horrible but would search somewhere else 1st the next time

It’s just dated and for that it didn’t feel clean and the bathroom not well lit
