Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charlottesville North

This was the best kept hotel with a decent filing continental breakfast. I've stayed at a lot of hotel chains, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍 downtown Charlottesville only 15 minutes. And Plaza Azteka and food lion right next door. They're is a lot to see and do around this hotel.

We stayed here as a slightly last minute Memorial weekend get away. It’s nice for a two star, value priced, hotel. The location was good for Monticello and area attractions. The hallways are updated. Our room was partially re-done, but had somewhat amusing outdated furniture and odd configuration. The king bed was too large for the alcove- making it awkward to get in/out on one side. That side was next to the closet- very tight. But, the room was clean, good sized, and comfortable. No excess noise. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit lacking- I didn’t expect much at this level, but they were struggling to keep it stocked. They also need more than one 4 slice toaster and a new waffle maker.

Desk receptionist was polite and provided me clear instructions. Rooms are very clean and breakfast is good.

Good location in Charlottesville, restaurants nearby and only a few miles from Downtown. Convenient location to get to the interstate and historical attractions. Used this hotel as a base for a weekend of presidential history and visiting local wineries.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The gym was good with multiple treadmills, mat space and free weights/bench. Breakfast was nice, lots of seating room. Hotel was completely full, yet rooms were quiet, there was seating space for breakfast, and room for parking. Hotel rooms need some updating. The carpet in the rooms were a little worn.

At check-In Í asked for a room not facing the street, the FD agent said she got me a room facing the pool. When we got in the room, it was exactly the opposite. She gave me a room on the street side, it was not only loud, it was also super bright. My reservation is for a suite with king and pull out sofa bed for my 10 y/o. When we opened the pull out sofa, there was no space to walk around. It was literally touching the wall. We had to step wide, high and hold on to the wall when getting up in the middle of the night. It was incredibly safety hazardous. They could not move us to another room because they were sold out. I ended up not getting sleep the two nights we stayed at this hotel.

Hotel and staff is very nice. Rooms are great.

Nice staff, great accommodations and they go out of their way for clients. The staff treated graduate families to a reception. Truly appreciated by all. Plus coffee and tea is an all day thing there. Great location clean rooms. Good breakfast included
