Tee-Side Guest House

Excellent breakfast, very nice and kind owner. A small, beautiful hotel located in the center of Bude. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning there as soon as possible. We were a bit sad we only booked two nights as we really enjoyed the stay.

Dave is a wonderful host, very helpful and super friendly. And his guesthouse is a lovingly furnished gem directly opposite the local golf club. The distances to the village are really short, beaches, shops, cafés, bars, bus stop, various supermarkets: everything is within walking distance in a few minutes. The single room is very cosily furnished. There is a wardrobe, a small desk and an ensuite toilet with a small washbasin and storage facilities. Admittedly, the narrow bed was unusual for me in the beginning and next time I will simply book a double room. Nevertheless, I slept very well because the bed is just incredibly comfortable and the room is very quiet facing the backyard. Breakfast is very delicious and it is prepared freshly and with lots of love by Dave. The dining room is very cosy and tastefully furnished, I felt very comfortable there. The selection of breakfast options is exceptionally good. You can choose from various mueslis and different types of yoghurt to juices, fresh fruit and various jams. There is also the option of ordering a „Full English“ or different variations. A slip of paper to tick off your choices makes it easier to choose the day before. Thanks to Dave's numerous tips for Bude and the surrounding area, my stay turned into a entertaining short holiday. If I am ever in the area again, I will be very happy to return to the Tee-Side Guest House. Thank you!

Brilliant location, really easy to access different areas of Bude. The hotel is well decorated and modern, with all the amenities you would expect and need from a hotel. Dave was really friendly and helpful, a very good host. Breakfast in the morning gave a wide variety of options and was really enjoyable. Great value for money and a very comfortable stay.

It’s frustrating that we had to spend an additional £50 on parking for our stay, however this is similar in many coastal towns and certainly wouldn’t put me off staying again.

The best guest house we have visited by far. Dave was a perfect host. Rooms had everything needed, bathroom clean and the shower was fabulous (many are not). Bed comfy, I slept so well. Breakfast great and location supurb. Best holiday I have had for a while. Bude is a lovely town with a bit of everything to keep you busy for a holiday. We were lucky and had fantastic weather as well. I will definitely be back and would stay at Tee-Side everytime.
