Knights Inn Phoenix at N Black Canyon Hwy

The place is a dump...we never stayed. There was no bathroom door, the ac was not very cold, it reeked like smoke, there were covers missing from all the outlets and switches. Most outlets did not work, the grounds were scary at best. It amazes me that this can be legally rented to anyone. Once we saw bugs...it was over...we just left.

The staff was friendly and the housekeeping lady was as helpful as she could be.

Upon arrival I was checking in and was told I would be in one of their “ nicest” rooms located on the 2nd floor above the office. Not an ideal location facing the interstate but I went with it. Found the room to be nice, clearly updated with a refrigerator and new flooring, etc. After putting my things in the room, I found one small hand towel and one washcloth in the bathroom. I went back to the front desk and asked for more towels, the gentleman told me they do not have anymore towels. I thought he was kidding, he wasn’t. I then thought I’d let him know about my service dog which I had put on the reservation but since this guy lives at this hotel, he was bound to see the dog so don’t want any issues later. He then proceeded to tell me that no dogs , even service animals are allowed in the updated room. I said well what do you want to do? He told me he didn’t have any other rooms. Keep in mind, he’s already told me 3 times that the updated room was all he had I said, I would contact booking.com for a refund and he said ok. As I was walking away, he came running out and said to wait, he found a room. Sadly, I went from updated room to 2 beds in a room not fit for the dog, let alone 2 people. Filthy dirty, horrible, moldy, mildew smell, tile floors black with dirt, no towels at all, door would not shut all the way without forcing it closed, door had a 3 inch open gap at the bottom where you could literally see outside and see people walking by all hours of the night, a handicapped shower with nothing to contain the water from the shower, so when you took a shower, the entire bathroom flooded and you were walking in 2 inches of water after done showering. It was a complete mess! I was going to request a refund but thought I had better just get out of there while I could. $70 a night should be $20 for what I got.

Too many people walking around

The location was wrong I didn't get that place and I ended up sleeping in a car at the garage so I don't know who to complaint to and claim my money back since the address was wrong u could not find that place even if you can ask them I never arrived at their place

It was only $56 a night. I guess you get what you pay for.

Very bad neighborhood homeless everywhere, our door lock was broken literally fell off the front of the door
