Good breakfast, cold AC, clean bedding

The place smelled musty, the room did too. When I went to adjust the air conditioner, I found 2 Febreeze car air refresher clips in the vents. The ice machine was broken, the pool and hot tub were down. When I asked the front desk about it, they straight up said "look, were like the poorest hotel in Tyler". 😳 Then, the 2nd time we used the bathroom, the light went out so I brought a lamp into the bathroom. They did offer to have us trade rooms but I had already unpacked us so I declined. But thank you for offering! Next, my toddler and I got ready for bed and we found a cockroach in the bathroom that my toddler wanted to play with because I have taught him "bugs are our friends". So that's lovely. And lastly, I asked the front desk for a little milk as I forgot the milk for the toddler's bottle. She checked and said that they had silk milk but the regular milk looked curdled!! What in the world?! That's concerning. Went to breakfast and the wallpaper in one part of the dining area was stapled to the wall... At least 6 or 7 staples keeping it up. Wow. I brought a friend along for this trip and was pretty embarrassed by the whole thing. Paid 105.88 for this place - shouldn't be more than $65 a night.

This place sucks! Unprofessional. Dirty. Smelly. Ice machine broke. Swimming pool closed for repairs. They gave my prepaid room to someone else and charged me again. It was 1:00am and all we wanted was to sleep. Swindlers!

Nice staff. It’s an older hotel and in pretty good shape. Great shower! A/C worked well. Our sink backed up but, if left several hours the standing water eventually went out. Unfortunately, there was no cream for coffee on a Sunday morning.
