Quality Inn & Suites Birmingham - Highway 280

The best thing about this property was the sweet lady who checked us in. She was all alone & had to handle everything by herself. She had multiple requests at one time and always answered with a smile. She was patient and kind and definitely a multi-tasker. I felt bad she was stuck there all alone with zero help. Despite booking on booking.com the hotel allowed us to cut our stay short, due to sickness, without a penalty.

The property is old and in need of repair. The entire place had an odd smell and it is in serious need of upgrades. The breakfast area is super small and did not accommodate the amount of people staying. It was raining when we got there & the humidity level in the room was off so it felt “wet” the entire time. The pool area was decent, but while watching my kiddos swim a man slipped down and fell because the area was so slippery.

Clean and neat and it smelled good!

Hard to get to off the highway.

The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
