Hotel Rodelu

Great breakfast. Lovely outside gardens and rooftop.

Close to the plaza, great breakfast, staff extremely helpful. We wanted a taxi but the street was closed due to the Momma Negra festivities so the front called us one and then walked us down the road to where the taxi was waiting. The hotel also will store luggage which helped us out on our side trip to Quilatoa Crater.

We had a room with a window to the inside hallway so whenever anyone walked by the hallway light would come on. That window was also the only window so you couldn’t get any fresh air.

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was decent; they have a nice restaurant with some options for lunch and dinner. The hotel is well located, close to some stores. The staff is supportive.

The shower pressure and temperature were perfect. The bed was very comfortable as well. They eagerly store hikers’ luggage without a charge.

On the day of check-in, they sent a message requesting some bank transfer to “secure the room” which was sketchy. Breakfast was underwhelming. I also left my jacket in the closet and I attempted to contact the hotel to get it back. They claimed that there was nothing left in the room, which was not true.

Convenient location, decent facilities and nice breakfast.

Loud music played at reception after 22:00 which was inconvenient (was turned off when asked but strange this happened anyway)

Staff is friendly (they only spreaks Spanish). Breakfast is good. Photos and information about facilities at this property on Booking.com are accurate.

In our first room we had no Windows, changing was no problem

The bed squeaked a bit and the shower wasn't to great (but warm). Due to the central location it's noisy in the evening.

Ambiente pulito e corrispondente alla descrizione, manca un spazio all’aperto. Sarebbe interessante proporre nella colazione del buono e interessante cibo ecuadoriano, o proprio della cittadina (Latacunga). Si permette al turista di incontrare la gastronomia locale. Non funzionava il campanello. Vicino all’albergo ci sono degli ottimi bar in alternativa.
