Silver Gate Lodging

Really great cabins located ideally just after Yellowstone and right near the Beartooth Highway. Plenty to see and do in the area itself. Cabins were located right in the woods, which was nice and quiet. Everything you need in this little cabin, with chairs and bbq amenities right outside.

Our door didn't quite fit in the door frame (a nice slice of open door was visible) which wasn't too reassuring in the woods with the animals but we were fine of course, but this should be addressed as it was also quite cold at night

Outstanding location, quiet cabin in the woods. Staff amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable about the local wildlife leading to excellent wildlife sightings in the week we were there.

A few power failures but have lantern in room so never a problem

The cabin was very old and had cracked linoleum in the bathroom. BUT, we had children with us who revelled in playing in the mud of Soda Butte and then we all enjoyed sitting around the fire pit late into the night! So, Iam not complaining about our stay. The cabin itself is showing its age and if we were not to have the fire pit and Creek for play time, I would have objected to the price of the cabin.

Silver gate was a wonderful place to take your family! It off the road. It was big enough for six of us. It wasn't the cleanest place for the extra charges.
