Silver Gate Lodging

The property was decent enough. We had two beds, a small bathroom snd a good shower. Lots of good hot water in the shower. The thing that soured us the most was that we read on the checkout note that we would be charged a large amount if we did not wash the dishes. There were only 4 coffee cups, a few plates and silverware. We washed our 2 coffee cups in the bathroom sink so we wouldn’t be charged the crazy amount. Other than that it was fine.

Location is perfect

Tiny, quaint, cabin. Loved the setting and the staff were really helpful. Could use some repairs on the flooring in the bathroom and the carpet was badly stained. But we would stay there again for sure. 👍 Had super easy access to Yellowstone which we loved. Total “Northern Exposure” vibe going on. 😉

Environmental setting and proximity to the park.

All rugs and carpets should be replaced and we had to clean all pots, pans, etc. before we could use them. The annex was subpar.

It’s good, the lodge is good.

No WiFi in the room. Also, not sure if they clean the cups as they asked the customers to wash the cups.

Magical Mountain View’s and incredible staff made our stay an amazing time. Sight seeing is not a scarcity, amazing food at the Cafe and the bar at night! We will definitely be back, couldn’t have been any better.

Super location for NE Gate entry to Yellowstone! Our cabin was so adorable! Not fancy but stocked with everything we needed, comfortable, cozy log cabin decor, and very clean! It exceeded our expectations!

Breakfast across the street was delicious but we had a very long wait to be seated and then another long wait for our food.
