Cod Cove Inn, BW Signature Collection

Considering it as located at a very busy intersection, it was pretty quiet. Comfy bed and great shower. We’ve stayed here before and would stay again.

Our winter weekend stay was quiet, easily accessible with friendly staff. We will stay again!

I traveled from 5hrs south to attend a funeral service the following morning and arrived after 11pm. The instructions were clear and easy to retrieve the key for the room. I never saw one person since I left fairly early around 8:30am. There wasn’t much for breakfast but I didn’t expect much since it’s probably their off season and it didn’t seem there were many people at the hotel. The only complaint I had was that the room was so incredibly cold maybe 30 to 40° No heat was turned on. There were two monitor heaters in the room and it took a while to warm up so I sat in my vehicle for about 20minutes while I waited. By morning it was cozy and warm. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were very very comfortable! I would definitely stay again but I’d call ahead to make sure someone turned the heat on…even just at 60 or 65° would be acceptable.

Have stayed here before, nice and clean and convenient to my needs. No daily housekeeping so had to go to the lobby for supplies when we needed them, ie, coffee for the room. This is probably seasonal due to it being winter

Great price. Great location. We went to see the botanical gardens in Boothbay. The desk clerk was very nice. Breakfast was similar to that you would see at a Hampton. It was fine. The room was very comfortable and very clean, the bedding was great. Parking was super easy overall very happy with our choice.

We’ll be back to this Inn, but it had its pros and cons. The location is excellent, situated conveniently between Wiscasset and Boothbay/Boothbay Harbor. We were offered a choice between first- and second-floor rooms and chose the second floor for the view, which did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the room was freezing when we arrived, as the heat hadn’t been turned on in advance. The bathroom’s towel rack was barely secured to the wall, which wasn’t a big issue but made the room feel less polished. On the positive side, the bed was incredibly comfortable—I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while. The continental breakfast left much to be desired. An hour after opening, the bread was picked through, fruit was scarce, and the options—hard-boiled eggs, sausage gravy, and waffles—didn’t pair well. Perhaps off-season staffing played a role. We decided to have breakfast in Wiscasset instead, which was a great choice. Overall, this Inn served its purpose as a comfortable, convenient place to stay. With better room preparation, small maintenance fixes, and improvements to the breakfast experience, it could be even better.
