Unforgettable Stay – Pure Paradise! Our vacation at Riu Palace Maldives was absolutely unforgettable! From the first moment to the very last, everything was perfect — clean, beautiful, delicious, and so warm-hearted. A very special thank you to the amazing reception team — Shauna, Eleonara, Harsha, and Naufal. You were always so kind, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. You are incredible! The housekeeping team kept our room spotless and fresh every day — thank you for your care and attention to every little detail. The restaurant was outstanding — delicious food, wide variety, everything fresh and beautifully presented. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly and attentive — we truly felt spoiled! Every time we needed anything, someone was there to help us immediately, always with a smile. The service across the whole resort was just amazing. And one moment we will never forget — when we were leaving on the boat, the staff stood on the pier waving to us… It was such an emotional moment, it brought tears to my eyes. I truly didn’t want to leave. We rated everything with the highest scores, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Riu Palace Maldives, for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!

Exceptional hotel and staff made our honeymoon experience out of this world. Not only was the island beautiful but RIU have made a terrific atmosphere here as well,the hotel just oozes relaxation. From check in to check out Riu made it easy, just what a customer needs after a 19 hour day to get there. On opening the room door we were blown away by the room and the thoughtful surprise by the company. Then the wife burst into tears of overwhelming joy when she saw the beautiful white beach and turquoise sea just feet from the patio doors. The staff couldn’t do enough to help you enjoy this place, such a credit to Riu. A few special mentions go to Abu for spoiling the wife with the wine. Philippe for sorting out the steakhouse diner for us. (Riu you need to update your app.as it says steakhouse is open on sunday and closed Thursday… that’s wrong) not much fun turning up to eat only to find its shut) thanks again phippe for sorting. Praise to Dasun in the bar, extremely helpful man-and also to Lia in the restaurant for her helpfulness and friendliness at all times. This was our second visit to the Riu Palace Maldives so rather than repeat much detail please see my previous review Aug 2023. Despite our previous visit our second stay did not disappoint, the service, food, cleanliness, the staff, the chefs were all as good if not better. It was great to be recognised and welcomed by many staff members who are still at the RPM.... home away from home...... nothing is too much to ask and all staff are prepared to go the extra mile to make your stay as good as it can be. Unfortunately it is other guests that spoil it for others e.g. being rude to staff, hogging sunbeds all day but not using them until late afternoon.... I am sure we all have experienced this type. It was a new one on me this trip when there was a woman on the beach topless. Furthermore she was flaunting it all about......... clearly she hadn't done her homework as she would have found out that topless bathing is not allowed. There were also many very badly sun burned people as I assume they hadn't realised how strong the UV is in the Maldives, even if cloudy. Please all do your homework before travel and as a minimum take factor 50 sun cream and good beach shoes, understand where you are visiting and be respectful to the staff and to the country you are visiting. We saw large eagle wrays and black tipped sharks again but this visit were blessed to see a turtle. They are so well camoflaged its more about being in the right place at the right time. We ate in the Japanese and Krystal restaurants, different menus this time but still great choice and fantastic service. Special thanks to Cindy in the Krystal restaurant who made our visits all the more enjoyable. Special thanks also to: Sanju, Poonam, Anu, Thanuka, Dasun and Chamo in the Palace bar who kept us in drink during those hot sunny beach days. Sande and Fernando bar supervisors, Firman (head chef), Edi (Palm restaurant sous chef) who made us several bespoke meals. Palm restaurant staff Husnam, Saleem, Nova and Hissan (pasta chef). Sanjay (sash) entertainment team. Bela our room attendant who surprised us each day with a new piece of towel art, or decorated our bed with flowers. Given time we could have listed the whole staff team, including gardeners, as they all work hard together in the blazing sun and heat, to give the fortunate guests a piece of paradise. I am pretty sure we couldn't find fault even if we tried. We cannot recommend the Riu Palace Maldives highly enough. Great service, great value

Wow, what a place. The surroundings are stunning and the facilities and food excellent. What makes it perfect though, is the staff. I have never witnessed such an amazing team of people, dedicated to making sure your holiday is perfect in every way. Samee, Sanju, Chamila (all bar) and Shah restaurant) to name but a few, were so friendly and kind. The island is so peaceful and the wildlife quite unbelievable. Turtles, baby sharks, stingrays, fruit bats, hermit crabs can be seen daily. Take beach shoes as coral sand can be sharp. Snorkel mask too as the amount of brightly coloured fish is amazing. Get it booked!

we are very happy with riu palace bar team..they were amazing..we had wonderful service from bar team..i would like to mentioned some special peoples from the bar.THANUKA,CHAMARA,CHAMOD,SANJU,CHAMIK A,SAMEE AND POONUM special thanks to them..we will definitly come back...

I spent the best holidays ever in the Riu Palace Maldives. Everything was so beautiful and nice can’t complain anything. The bar bar staff are so friendly and so polite. They make our vacation so memorable especially Sanju Samee Poonum Chamika Chamod Thanuka and Chamaraa. Hope to see you again. Thank you all for the nice service.

Class hotel, always wanted to do it was on my bucket list 2 flights and a seaplane we got there, it was hit 29* during the day n at night, we had a beach apartment walk out to the sea was so warm , food was amazing, rooms were spotless, drinks were free flowing I would defo recommend this hotel staff outstanding

Everything and more than we could have expected !! The whole experience was made even more special by the warm, friendly and attentive staff

we stayed the palace here for 10 days for our 25 th wedding anniversary what can we say from the time we arrived we loved it ,all the staff were great nothing was a problem they always spoke ,it was clean and tidy the weather was good the bar staff were always friendly as well as the restaurant staff we even came away with a menu for one of there curries we would defiantly be going back
