Clean and modern room. Good shower. Friendly staff.

It’s very noisy. The hotel is next to some bars, which open late (noisy until the early hours of the morning). My room was on the first floor facing the street so I found it hard to sleep on any of the three nights I stayed (Thursday- Sunday). Also, the breakfast was quite poor and understaffed. On my first morning the place was full at 08.30, but seemed to be only one member of staff trying to seat you, clear up, and refill everything. When I went there was no butter, milk, hardly any cooked food. The following days were slightly better. But overall disappointing.

Everything - excellent location and such good service. We had an amazing stay - just perfect! Staff were so helpful and lovely little touches like complimentary drinks, coffee and snacks. Really nice hotel and rooms.

Nothing! Weather was awful- storms and only regret was that we didn’t get to sample the roof terrace! We will have to return!

This friendly hotel is well located for exploring Porto. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast selection was ample with a nice selection of cheeses, meats, salad, fruit, bread and pastries. There was also a small hot selection each day. The hotel is within a few minutes walk of a variety of bars, cafés and resaurants - so there was plenty of choice for evening meals. We appreciated the welcome drink and also the afternoon snacks that were available. The staff we spoke to were approachable and happy to engage with guests. The only reason we have not given the Moon and Sun a 5 is because we did have a few 'maintenance' issues in the bathroom (one was fixed but one was not) and although we asked about it, the aircon did not appear to work. Having said that, I would happily stay here again and would recommend to others looking to explore the delightful city of Porto.

The breakfast was very good with a large variety of choices. The location was excellent with many restaurants close by. We had a superior double room, which was perfect. The barman Nikita, was very welcoming, and the staff at reception could not have been more helpful.

We could not operate the air conditioning unit and had to ask reception for help, and there were only a couple of English-speaking channels on the TV; we would have preferred more.
