Hotel Metropole

광장에서 가까워서 어디든 가기 편했어요~ 건물이 오래되서 그렇지 내부는 깔끔하고 좋았습니다! 조식 먹는 곳 뷰가 호시우 광장인데 너무 이쁘고 조식 퀄리티도 괜찮아서 하루 밤 묵고 가는데 가격 대비 너무 좋았어요~

광장이 가깝다 보니까 좀 시끄럽습니다 그치만 피곤해서 그런지 금방 잠들어서 저희는 괜찮았습니다~

Perfect location to explore the city. The room was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice.

The room was a bit dated. The frosted glass door to the bathroom didn’t fully open due to the bidet being behind it.

Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and efficient. Everything very clean. Breakfast has something for everyone, including fresh fruit, nuts, seeds and yoghurt which we liked. The coffee was excellent and small pastel de nata (custard tarts) with coffee was a nice touch. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable, the bath/shower worked well and a bottle of water every day was also welcome.

We were informed that the air conditioning did not work. Our room on the top (5th) floor overlooked the narrow street at the rear of the hotel and although it was possible to open the doors to the small balcony for cool air at night, we suffered badly from mosquitoes that seemed to swarm one night - sleepless nights and dozens of itchy bites. It was noisy with people and trash collections (bottles being the loudest) between midnight and 2:00am. The furniture in the bedrooms was a bit tired - retro fittings are great but the wardrobes and carpets needed a refresh.

Brilliant location, Rooms a little tired but very clean, good breakfast and very helpful staff.

Locals amazing, close to all. Room was very good and comfortable. Staff was friendly but not over tge tip. The breakfast ladies were very friendly.

One thing did not like was that the front desk was on the first floor, so anyoncould get in the elevator on the bottom floor and access the room. Would suggest a key access at the front door, so only guest can access tge building .
