Truc Loc Villa

1) The location was perfect to visit Old Town, just a few mins walk away from the main area. We loved that we were close but in a quiet area, and it was easy for drivers to pick us up or drop off right in front of the hotel. The view from the balcony at night of the lit up river was beautiful 2)The local feel: because the hotel is just on the border of the touristy area, we could just turn in the opposite direction and be in a non-tourist area. Locals frequented the coffee shop in the lobby of the hotel too, which added to the atmosphere. 3)The owners were great, very friendly, helpful, attentive and made sure we enjoyed our stay. I loved knowing I was supporting a local family business. 4)Coffee shop (with wide variety of beverages, including matcha) in the lobby.

We could have used an extra couple pillows, but overall not a big deal (such a minor detail we didn't even ask for them while we were there) but had they been on the bed, we would have used them.

A little dated but charming

Le personnel était très serviable et à l'écoute. Notre hôtesse a fait une petite erreur mais s'est très vite rattrapé. C'était très appréciable.

Our room was lovely and had everything you could possibly need for a 3 night stay in the stunning town of Hoi An. The location was super convenient but also enough away from the crowded parts, just 5-10 mins from the Japanese Bridge and lantern boat rides. We came back to our room multiple times during the day as it was so close just to come and freshen up before heading out again. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us organise tours, transport and gave many recommendations of what to see, eat and do. Don’t hesitate to ask them about anything! We were able to rent bicycles from the accommodation (free of charge), which was an added bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Truc Loc Villa to anyone, especially if you’re worried or have never been to Vietnam, you’ll definitely feel like you’re in good hands!
