Karen and James were excellent hosts. Our room was beautifully prepared and well appointed. Loved our stay.

The host was exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was incredibly cosy and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated, adding a modern touch to our experience. Notably, everything was impeccably tidy and clean, which contributed to our overall satisfaction during our two-night stay. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, ensuring that we started our days with a hearty meal. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have access to a car. Alternatively, there is a convenient bus stop located right in front of the house, or you can opt for a pleasant 30-minute walk to reach the city centre.

Breakfast advert not clear ( English breakfast which you expect to be included was not, you had to pay for but you get free cereals,milk, coffee,tea,fresh juice) but it was spot on. Again was not included in the advert that the owners will visit your room to remove rubbish when you are not in, don't agree with, I was expecting at least to be informed about.

The location was perfect

I really didn't like the fact we were told not to bring back takeaway food. We explained we were arriving late only to be told no food in the rooms. Even after getting rid of all rubbish first thing the next morning felt like the owner was almost checking up on us to make sure we had got rid of rubbish. Knowing newquay if you don't eat by 8pm you won't eat and we were in a rush. The room was very small as was the ensuite. I would not return when a much better hotel option is just down tge road and less judgemental feeling like your every move is being scrutinised
