Hostel Inn Hashimoto

Super clean, all necessary items, comfortable bed, Owners are absolutely lovely, friendly, available to help you. They waited for me to arrive to check me in. Che king as easy as leaving the keys in a box. I was fortunate that their plans for the day allowed me to leave the luggage, go to Koyasan and come back. That’s not a “service” but it’s a possibility, which is handy thanks to the proximity to the train station. Side notes, about “taking care”: This love for guests is also visible in small details of the hostel, in the “welcome” painted on the otherwise gray wall leading up to the rooms, in the care in placing the items in the room and in the small picture on the wall saying “arigatou” with smiley faces in side the letters, really cute

Single room is small if you have bulky luggage and lots of items, but enough if you travel light or with just a backpack I was in the 2nd floor (in Japan first floor is at ground level) with No elevator, but the owner could help me to pull the baggage up the stairs

Excellent location, 3-5 min walk to train station. Family Mart diagonally across the hostel inn. Warm welcoming owner couple. Quiet room on ground floor. Very helpful train station staff for connection to Koyasan.

The non-smoking room reeks of unventilated cigarette smell. Price a bit high for what is offered. Still a good alternative to expensive Koyasan pilgrim's lodgings. World Heritage Koyasan Pass not valid for getting off at the Hashimoto stop, but essential Koyasan sightseeing can be done in half a day.

Central location near the station. Very friendly staff.

Great and friendly hosts,wonderful breakfast.The only drawback would be the fact that location-wise,Hashimoto is an hour train ride to Koyasan,so if you have a higher budget,you might consider a temple stay in Koyasan. Other than that,I had a beautiful experience there.

The owners were very friendly and kind. They made an excellent breakfast. The room had a couch that provided good space. The location is very close to the train station and there is a great Laundromat and major department store within walking distance.

Very friendly owners. I drove and they waited to show me the parking space. Free breakfast. Gave me a bigger room because I was tall. Great hotel.

The owners were extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. They kept my luggage two days after checkout since I did a hike - and greeted me cheerfully when I came back. Location is very convenient close to the station.

The rooms are indeed close to the bar and some sounds could be heard. but in my case it didn’t affect me at all since no guests were there and the bar closed at 11pm.

I booked a single room, and it was clean and nicely decorated. The owners are very friendly and speak good English. I had originally said I would arrive at 6-7pm, but was delayed and arrived after 8pm. The owner kindly facilitated this for me but it is a small hotel so it is helpful to be accurate with your arrival time.
