Claxton Hotel

A good place to start exploring the moors and the fishing villages.

I stay here quite regularly. It's a lovely hotel, always immaculately clean and with welcoming helpful staff. It's right on the beach, close to the shops and the railway station. Excellent place to stay.

We love The Claxton and come back time after time. The sea front / beach is gorgeous. Redcar town is a bit run down but seems to be undergoing transformation currently 👍

Staff were so amazing, friendly, helpful and had good customer service skills.. Breakfast was excellent, Only stayed for 1 night but couldn’t fault it..

Good hotel

Everyone was lovely and helpful. The food was excellent. Easy access to all the amenities.

Taken it down a star as there was no towels in my room. I went to reception who gave me some. Shower very powerful but shower tray slippery. I nearly went over a couple of times.

Basic hotel and room. Breakfast was nice.

Excellent value for money, great breakfasts and helpful friendly staff. Very convenient for the purpose of our visit to Redcar to see relatives. Will come again.

Hotel was impressive on entering. Very clean and weel maintained. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and really clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel without question
