Claxton Hotel

Kind staff who were dog friendly. Room walls were thin and noise from adjoining rooms was a problem.

A hotel on the seafront in a rundown area, super friendly staff, small room, heating difficult to get right, lots of stairs and small changes in floor level, difficult for people with mobility needs.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great location for access to Redcar and for walking along the beach. Nice and quiet , newly decorated comfortable hotel - great breakfast, overall very pleased with my choice.

Disappointed at lack of on site parking. ‘Free parking’ as stated in the blurb was not strictly true. The makeover of rooms was ok. But they have tried to cram too many into a small hotel. As elsewhere under pressure due staff shortages
