Old Creek Lodge

Exceptional! Clean room, friendly staff, and great location. View of the river from the balcony was very nice. Very relaxing sitting on the balcony hearing the water and enjoying nature.

The location was great. Close enough to the main strip to walk to everything but nestled along the river that you didn’t feel like you were in town. Room was spacious and had that log cabin feel. Definitely would stay there again.

Stayed here one night after hiking in the Smokies and enjoyed it. Rooms are clean and spacious. It was nice to have a balcony to sit out after dinner. And it’s right off the strip so easy to walk to dinner. Breakfast was ok too - would stay here again

Old Creek Lodge was fantastic! Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean. Recommend rooms with a stream view. We were in room 306 and it was the perfect placement! We faced west, which was perfect for enjoying the balcony. We could watch the Ober Mountain Skyline go up the mountain and back. I chose Old Creek partially for the walkability and it was perfect!! Just close enough for convenience but just far enough off the strip for privacy and a serene atmosphere.

A great location, beautiful setting (on the river) with balcony, breakfast and bear (we didn't see him, but apparently there somewhere in the woods behind.) The free bus picks you up right outside although it is close to shops and restaurants. The staff are friendly. There is only one negative thing - you cannot reach the machine to pay with your card! (Some of us are short! :) Oh, and cold drinks available during the day would be good too.

Such a beautiful hotel right on the creek. Got to see a bear walking the creek bed. Love the sound of the creek .

Great place to stay and enjoy Gatlinburg! Right on the edge of the strip, quiet but close to everything. Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable room, great amenities, and an awesome creek right outside the room from the balcony! We saw a bear a few nights of our stay, among other fun birds and animals. We had a great vacation, in an amazing location, with lots of memories made!

Love, love,love this hotel!! Most relaxing place along the river. No bad rooms. All over the river. Bedding is to die for. COMFY!!! Quick and easy breakfast to go you out exploring. Close to the park, the Parkway and many excellent breakfast and dinner options.

Great place to stay, excellent location, the free city trolley bus stops just a few steps away from the hotel entrance, not to mention that if you like to walk, within one block distance you are on the main city road loaded with shops, restaurants, entertainment, souvenir shops etc., etc., the rooms are comfortable and spacious, the view of the two creeks that run in the rear of the hotel property from the beautiful, private and totally enclosed balcony is a plus (I think all rooms have the same type of balcony). The fact that the rooms start from the second level and up allows guests to enjoy the full view of the creeks clear running water. The hotel has 4 levels of which level 1 is just for parking, lobby, breakfast area (highly recommended) Housekeeping and maintenance personnel. But more importantly Mrs. Rebecca (Manager), Dorothy, Julie, Lacy, Melody and the Housekeeping Crew with their positive attitude and friendliness only ad more charm to this beautiful gem in Gatlinburg, TN.
