Detroit Marriott Livonia

Our 4 days stay with this marriot is very disappointing. The rooms are very outdated, the rooms are very small, the carpet stinks like mold and very old, pungent smell of room, there is no outlet by the lamp shade to plug in your cell phone, bathrooms are also outdated. The lighting is outdated and not bright. The entry way to the building with rotating doors- rubber mats are disintegrating, the Finn restaurant has sorrounding walls that is NOT pleasing to look at(are we in 1970’s?). There is a lot of traffic because only 1 elevator was working (back to back wedding events happening), hallway carpets are in terrible shape- torn, cracked, stinks. This hotel badly needs remodel!

Only complaint was the bed- old lumpy mattress, noisy boxspring and ill fitting bunched up bedding.

I was very satisfice by the mear fact that when I arríbese I was able to get into my room immediately which was way before 4pm. The receptionist was absolutely gracious and super friendly. My overnight stay was exceptionally comfortable.i will recommend it for my friends.

There was total confusion about the reservations which caused me to pay twice for a room

Tired Hotel with great people. Why did no one tell me in advance about the construction, only one lift and the poor catering arrangements?

One of rooms had what looked like mold in the blankets on both beds, it was disgusting. Both rooms seemed semi clean. No clocks in either room. Had my daughters birthday party here with her friends and it was Kinda disappointing.

Clean and friendly front desk. One elevator was out but didn't cause massive traffic jams.
