Elegant hotel, close to the castle and city center, with nice Restaurant integrated.

Being a historical building, it does not have an elevator. Understandable of course, but something seniors might want to know.

The hotel is in a good location, a reasonable walk from the railway station and quite close Celle town centre. Characterful hotel, lovely furnishings. The pool was really nice and also quiet.

The hotel bar was furnished very comfortably but there was no atmosphere as we were the only people there. We don't like it too noisy but prefer to have a little more life than in a library. We were encouraged via email to reserve a table at the hotel restaurant which we did as it was a Tuesday evening and we thought some restaurants in the town centre may be closed. The reservation was unnecessary, the food was good but definitely overpriced. My vegetarian pasta dish was basically pasta in tomato sauce with a small scattering of chopped aubergine on top. However the tiramisu was lovely. We much preferred the Thaers Wirsthaus which was a short walk down the road for a drink and food. Everyone has their own preferences.

Det här var en fin upplevelse - lite herrgårdsaktig och med briljant intim rumlösning där man slipper korridortramp och slamrande dörrar. Mycket bra! God italiensk restaurant på hotellet och mycket tilltalande miljö i sin helhet. Rogivande och välgörande på det hela taget. Frukosten var mycket bra, men den dagen vi var där var den tyvärr inte helt färdigt framdukad i utsatt tid, så vi fick klara oss utan bl.a. ost. Däremot kom en man speciellt till mig med rökt lax, som jag hade efterfrågat, men som ännu inte var klar. Det kallar jag service!

Den försenade frukosten var lite olycklig, men det är ganska sannolikt att det var en engångsföreteelse, så vi lägger ingen vikt vid det.

Schönes, etwas morbides Ambiente. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für das Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schöner kleiner Spa-Bereich mit guten Fitnessgeräten, Pool sauber und mit kräftiger Gegenstromanlage. Restaurant Palio mit toller italienischer Landhausküche: SUPER!

Frühstück mit 32,00 deutlich zu teuer.
