Sonder at East End

I stayed for 5 weeks and needed a kitchen and laundry; for that, the apartment is perfect. It's clean and has all the basic stuff. The fridge is great. Laundry is great. Plus, it's right above Trader Jose, very convenient for grocery shopping when Minnesota is so cold in winter time. However, it's not meant to be your real apartment, so the cooking amenities are minimal and not the best kinds. Just two simple pots and one pan, which are both sticky and only good for boiling something simple. My other complaint is the bed. It's not as good as normal hotel beds that I was used to. The quality is in between your guest bed at home and a real hotel bed. If you stay for a long time, it can be a problem if your back needs a hotel-quality bed. Overall, I still think it is a very good option for long-term stays or for a family.

There was a dog that seemed to be abandoned in the hallway and barked at people quite a bit. I came back to my apartment at about 3am after a night out and saw the dog. By noon the next day the dog still hadn’t been claimed by anybody :( it was really sad. And since it was Sunday there were no staff on site who could look into it. A few folks staying in the building also reported it. Hope it gets figured out. Cleanliness was ok. The apartment had a perfume mixed with feet smell in the kitchen which was offputting… the door throughout the apartment were sticky and there were dust bunnies on the floor. Elevator was very high traffic. I waited 5 minutes for it to get to my floor one day. Parking garage was a little hard to find. At first i parked in the Trader Joe’s lot which is on the same block but realized the garage has a different address than the buildings address and is around the corner. I love how spacious the units are at least. Sonder units seem to be hit or miss. Overall an ok stay but I probably wouldn’t come back to this one.

We chose this property as we were attending our first Vikings game and my adult kids joined us for two nights for the holiday. The property is very nice and gives a very safe environment. Very nice neighborhood for downtown and would recommend. We have a couple of tiny issues that we reported and I'm confident will be resolved before our next visit.

Beautiful place and perfectly located near the Stadium.

Booked a 6 night stay here over Thanksgiving. The unit is new, spacious and pretty modern. Some amenities were not present at check-in but the Sonder staff were very, very responsive via their company app. There are very few stores and shopping nearby which is not great when it's a holiday or just really cold out (which it was). That said, it was only 5 minutes walking to both the light rail stop and US Bank Stadium. My main suggestion is to simplify parking. Sonder provided validation tickets that have a discounted rate but it was still inconsistent.

There were sheets and towels left in the washer when we arrived. The pull out couch had no sheets so thats how I discovered the wet laundry i had to dry and then use. The sheet on the pullout couch was filled wirh crumba. The couch fabric was clearly dirty. The shower had very low water pressure. I loved the location. Easy ealk to tram, Vikings game, parking, and easy to get to.

Otherwise OK, but no noise insulation between the floors, there was noise from the unit above at all hours. Otherwise would have given four stars
